Villa Serena Centro Historico - Mazatlan

The Villa Serena offered a charming atmosphere. I loved the historic decor and intricate tiles throughout the hotel. Walking to nearby restaurants and the beach took less than ten minutes. The kitchen was equipped for basic food prep. One of my favorite spots was the terrace, perfect for enjoying morning coffee. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, inconvenient. I also noticed some maintenance issues, like uncomfortable seating in the living area. Satisfying my needs required a bit more effort since cleaning services only occurred upon request, typical for this type of setup. Still, the place felt cozy overall, and I appreciated not being in a crowded hotel setting.

I was happy with hotel's absolutely perfect and comfortable location in the Historical district of Central Mazatlan. View to the sunrise was beautiful, the room was amazing and huge. Food was good and I have nothing but lovely memories from this trip.

The shower didn't just leak, it practically created its own indoor pool. And don't even get me started on the fridge and microwave that needed a manual to operate. I would have appreciated a token of apology for my troubles, but alas, my plaintive cries for service fell upon deaf ears. Can anyone say inadequate?

I was offered a room with incredibly beautiful views to the sunrise. It had a comfortable bed, cable channels, a microwave oven and a refrigerator.

We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 1 night, but everything was fine...

This place radiates authentic Mexican charm! The design immerses you in local culture while the friendly staff create a harmonious atmosphere. Walking to nearby attractions was effortless and enjoyable.

Be prepared for stair climbing and a thorny bush adventure to reach your room! Housekeeping operates on request, which might leave you longing for that hotel service touch during your stay.

The lack of a front desk made late arrivals troublesome. I had to call ahead for someone to let me in. Climbing up two flights of stairs through thorny bougainvillea was frustrating. Cleaning services only occurred on request.

I recently spent 27 nights here, and the cozy atmosphere really felt like home. Enjoyed the lovely terrace and kept wondering how such great cuisine wasn't shown in the photos! Definitely returning!
